Workshop Group Rotations

Please view "Move to America" and "Letter from a Farmers Daughter". Our overall story is about a 10 year old girl named Anna Dover. She is living during the Potato Famine and writing letters to her friends about what is going on. Her letters are not as sophisticated as a letter would be from an adult. "Letter from a Farmers Daughter" should be read first for the story to make more sense.
Is the setup appropriate?
Do the stories tie together?
Does anything need to be changed?
Does the story make sense?

  1. For your tab that says contents, maybe change it to research, because contents makes it sound like everything will be linked there.

  3. From Group 2.
The letter from the daughter is good and really does add "emotion" to the story because it shows the famine through the daughters point of view. If anything, maybe add more details how people died (not just starvation).

Move to america was also good and creates an image in our head to see the move.

  4. I like how the background goes with the theme of the story.
All of the posts and stories were very intriguing. It was cool how it gave the reader all the facts yet still gave a very personal and emotional story to it.
